    clean rooms
    busy bar

It was just a great match for a flash stay in Bristol with decent value for money. Had a drink in the bar, which was very nice, and the food looked good. If you need to use the toilet, be ready for a tight squeeze.

great spot for city walks and delicious pub food

I had a fantastic time discovering nearby landmarks and indulging in the best pub food I've had during my stay, especially the crispy Yorkshire pudding and perfectly cooked beef during Sunday roast.

excellent stay but noise from the band

The superior king room exceeded my expectations with its spacious layout and luxurious amenities. the staff offered attentive service, making us feel warmly welcomed throughout our visit.

Noise from the band in the beer garden can be distracting in the evening.

    free parking
    quaint village
    poor shower
    hot room

the stay was great, very comfy beds and the food was amazin. loved the quirky layout of the hotel and the village cheww magna is super pretty. we enjoyed a lovely walk around the area for hours and it felt really peaceful. also, it was nice to have free parking available which is always a plus!

i had a bit of a problem with the shower hose being bent so the water flow was restricted. also, it got really hot in the room with just 2 small roof windows.

I was charmed by the warm ambiance, cozy living room feel, and inviting decor in the bar and restaurant area, which made it enjoyable and accessible for us seniors during our stay.

    beautiful courtyard
    friendly staff
    kids' playground
    cooling fan

We had a lovely family getaway at this charming spot, enjoying the beautiful courtyard and playground for the kids. The staff were great and made our stay delightful, especially during our visit to Noah's Ark Zoo Farm, making it a perfect day out for the grandkids.

My kids wished the room had a ceiling fan to cool down on warm nights.

I adored the cozy ambiance in the bar area, it felt like a home away from home! 🏡 The breakfast could be improved, though, as it was a bit overpriced for what we got.

    comfortable bedding
    clean atmosphere
    attentive service
    bathroom lighting
    slow service

The location was great for a quick trip to Bristol Airport, only ten minutes away. I loved my spacious room with a clean and cozy feel. The soft bedding made for a comfortable night. Dinner in the restaurant exceeded my expectations. the food was exceptional, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast got off to a rough start though. It took almost 45 minutes to arrive and was only lukewarm. Had some noise in the evening from the beer garden, but it wasn't too disruptive. One issue was the bathroom light. It was motion-activated and woke me up whenever the other person moved. I had to turn it off at the fuse, which wasn't ideal. it was a pleasant stay despite a few hiccups.

I had an absolute blast enjoying cozy dinners in a charming atmosphere with a fire crackling nearby. My Superior King Room was beautifully presented, bright, and had a shower that felt like a dream! Plus, the free parking and inviting village walks were the cherry on top of this delightful experience.

pleasant stay with minor room for improvement

The staff excelled in their hospitality, especially Bruno, who made us feel truly welcome during our two-night stay. the variety and quality of food were impressive, particularly the presentation at dinner, which exceeded our expectations.

While the room was generally comfortable, it could benefit from additional amenities to enhance the overall experience.
